Until the mid 90s, Pau Stan's family operated a plantation. However, after two cyclones devastated their plantation, the family decided to quit farming and go into the hotel business.
Quoting Pau Stan: "With little or no experience in running a hotel for international travelers, we have learnt a lot of things the hard way. We now provide a standard of service as good as you will get in Samoa. I am a very keen golfer and enjoy challenging guests from all over the world to a friendly but competitive round.
