Manono Island is approximately an hour's drive from Apia CBD. The 20-minute boat ride is by way of double hull "alias". The turquoise waters are mesmerizing as you approach the island.

The atmosphere is very laid back and the locals relax and work as they see fit. So no strenuous enterprises unless it is time to plant, harvest the plantations or go out to catch a fresh fish for the meals.
