Faofao Beach Fales was totally destroyed by the 29 Sept 2009 Tsunami. With sheer determination and assistance from so many good Samaritans, former guests and other volunteers, Koroseta and her family have built back 8 beach fales with a small bar and restaurant. New operation was officially opened on the 23rd Dec 2009.

The "fales" are made from local materials and situated right on the beach. They are rented out on a per person basis and can include 2 meals or just accommodation only. There are enclosed and open sided fales with drop down blinds for privacy. All fales face the ocean. Configuration is on demand only, whereby the fales can accommodate up to 4 people. Clean and tidy shared facilities are available.

Faofao Beach Fales is now Faofao Beach Fales and Hotel with the opening of it's 12 new standard hotel rooms on March 12th 2011 - one year and six months since the original Faofao establishment had been wiped out by the September 2009 tsunami. The hotel is situated next to the Saleapaga mountainside and across the road from Faofao's traditional beach fales which are situated right on the stunning sand and pristine waters of Saleapaga coast. Each room contains it's own private ensuite for your convenience, balcony for security and relaxation and rates are also inclusive of Breakfast and Dinner.
