Mr. Julien VOISIN - France on 30/11/2009
"Excellent, such a nice place. We really enjoyed our time in Lusia's. Extremly nice people. Awesome food, great snorkeling (you have to use the kayak and go a little bit further, but just 3 minutes, there is plenty of corals, fishes and clear water). Highly recommended to all. Thanks for the great time."
Mr. Erasmo Macaya - Chile on 17/11/2009
"Our Lagoon fale was truely amazing being on top of the water. There is certinally plently to do in Savaii, however having your own car is a must.
Booked a massage twice, however both time no-one was there to give me one, that was a shame as I was really looking forward to it.
Also, shat about, what I can only assume as the nighclub across the way, was very loud!"
Ms. Angela Yorke - New Zealand on 17/09/2009
"I had a fantastic stay at Lusia's!"
Mr. Fabrizio Seri - Italy on 24/08/2009
"Accommodation was delightful, with great swimming. Muddle with our booking on arrival, which was sorted. Found the quality of the food very good, but the service very slow. Was travelling with children, and waiting 1 hour and 1/2 for main evening meal was too long. Have to say the upside of this was I have never seen a meal being eaten so fast by my son."
Mr. Philip La Roche - New Zealand on 18/08/2009
"We booked well in advance and paid a 15% deposit. Upon arrival we found they had no record of our booking. The story they told us was patently false. We took a garden bungalow rather than the over-water option we had chosen. It was not well-cleaned, and not cleaned once during our 3 day stay. The place is poorly managed and so, despite a pleasant location, I would steer well clear of it in future."
Mr. john macalister - New Zealand on 31/07/2009
"Bass from nightclub along the road was annoying."
Mrs. Janine Mayes - New Zealand on 25/07/2009
"Although on check in they had no record of our booking they dealt with this professionally and in a timely manner.
Food was excellent.
They did not routinely clean rooms - they asked us after 2 days if we wanted it cleaned, I would have thought that would have been done or a notice to inform if cleaning was required to inform reception would have been appropriate."
Mr. Bruce & Ruth Pittams - New Zealand on 19/07/2009
"This is in a beautiful setting and walking down to the markets was a great way to fill a morning. Mattress wasnt very comfortable with springs poking through, but everything else was fantastic and so the mattress didnt matter. We even saw a turtle swimming past us in the lagoon"
Mr. Andrew Chappell - New Zealand on 01/07/2009
"Lusias is a surprisingly unique experience in an increasingly commoditised accommodation market. The food was by far the best we experienced in all our accommodation in Samoa and a real highlight of our stay. We could not have been more satisfied. Right place, right staff and right price. Perfect."
Mr. Richmond DEAN - Australia on 03/04/2009
"good snorkeling, kayakking, good base."
Ms. Ellen Koenders on 24/10/2008
"A great place on the lagoon, and excellent food!"
Ms. Shandos Cleaver - Australia on 20/10/2008
"Its a nice place but it is a lagoon and no beach, Staff and food were great!"
Mr. David Fereday - New Zealand on 19/10/2008
"the waterfront modern units are the far superior option. the food was delicious tho not a lot of local fare avail exc for the fish which was delicious. four raw fish options which were the only ones we found out of the top end restaurants.
the lagoon is not great for snorkelling but excellent for swimming all tides and the kayaks were avail free if you stayed more than one night. met many people that went back for the night before the ferry as so convenient to the wharf."
Mr. bruce griffin - New Zealand on 17/10/2008
"We had booked a transfer from the airport that never showed up, othervise the stay was delightful! A romantic and cosy overwater fale, splendid food and friendly staff."
Mrs. marie peterson - Sweden on 23/09/2008
"Lusias does not have a beach for young children to play on. This should be noted in their advertisment. We had to change resorts because of this."
Mr. Steve Roberts - New Zealand on 28/08/2008
"We had a lovely time here- the staff were wonderful and it is a gorgeous location. We would love to return."
Mr. Nigel Hickey - Norway on 20/07/2008
"Not a very nice place to visit.
Had no local knowledge, seperated themselves from us, not very
friendly, will not/did not recommend that place to any person at all. Worst we have ever had, location was good. We had to leave!."
Mr. Gordon George - New Zealand on 14/07/2008
"Under the description for lagoon chalets it says all meals are included, however, only breakfast was included in the price.
And even though it says you can pay via Visa, we couldn't in the end as the guy working the day we left didn't know how to operate the machine. Otherwise, great location and food."
Ms. Ilva Rupenthal - Germany on 28/11/2007
"Some glass plates of the windows are missing in the room. They could not accept my credit card because of the mechanical problem. There is no place to put things like a towel in the shower room. I thnk they should check the rooms in detail and fix trouble as soon as possible so that their reputation is not damaged. I also think someone who knows first- hotel operation can help them. There must be lots of things they can learn from first-hotels or overseas hotels. I really appreciate the staff friendliness. Tell them I thank them."
Ms. Mayuko Tsuji - Japan on 19/08/2007
"We did not get the room we booked on line, so it might be good to double check.
Also if you want a guided tour of the Island ask for Warren, he was great."
Ms. Cassandra Rawlings - Australia on 06/08/2007
"The staff at Lusia's are fantastic. The food is delicous & at a great price. The overwater 'Lagoon' fale is the one to go for, as long as u dont mind a 'camping style' accomadation. Great value for money & a beautiful location, will definately be going back to 'Lusia's lagoon chalets!!!" A++++"
Ms. natalie mihalic - Australia on 04/08/2007

Ms. Bronwyn Walsh - Australia on 07/06/2007
"Fales over water were lovely. Were expecting staff (Manager) and experience to be more traditional than it was. Property information and inclusions (meals) were incorrect on website. They are expanding and building new fales which has further reduced the small rainforest area."
Ms. Leanne Pike - Australia on 22/05/2007
"Lusia's was a great place to stay - the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location to the wharf makes it the perfect place to stay. Only problem was that we had no warning that the place did not accept credit cards so had a bit of a scrounge for cash....
The chalets over the lagoon are quite an experience and the water was wonderful and blue."
Ms. Peta Evans-Bradley - Australia on 26/04/2007

Mr. patrick gallagher - New Zealand on 17/03/2007
"Great place to stay!! Really chilled atmosphere.....paradise. The toilets are a bit of a trek but the awesome position makes up for it. Definatley recommend the overwater fales."
Mr. Andrew Gardiner - Australia on 16/03/2007
