Address: Fagamalo , Savaii view mapSavaii Lagoon Resort is a fairly new boutique resort of seven western style bungalows, designed and built by a New Zealand Couple, self contained with a kitchenette and an ensuite. It is located in the village of Fagamalo on the north-east coast of Savaii.
This resort is absolutely beachfront on one of the most stunningly beautiful beaches in Samoa. Whether you fill your days swimming or snorkelling or simply reading or sipping a cocktail or beer under our beach shade fales, you will be able totally relax and feel that the beach is exclusively yours. If you are looking for rejuvenation, you will certainly find it here.
There is a bar and restaurant a few metres along the beach for those who wish to dine out under the stars and also dive charter from beginners to masters, operates from the lagoon which is safe for swimming and snorkelling at all times.
This area is renowned for its "glorious sunsets".
Savaii Lagoon Resort has just opened a restaurant serving light lunches and dinner in cosy garden settings. There is also a shop outside the resort gate for basic provisions should you decide to do your own cooking.
Next door is "Seki a Pizza" for something slightly different.
The resort has bicycles for hire, complimentary dinghies, petanque, laundry facilities, a small library and a dive shop across the road.
Savaii Lagoon resort, in Savaii, wishes to announce the launching of our Glass Bottom Boat, which operates within the lagoon where Savaii Lagoon Resort is situated. The boat is equipped to take 15 passengers and 2 crew and will have 1 or 2 trips daily, excluding Sundays, dependent on tides and weather conditions. The trips will take place only either side of high tide to ensure that no damage is done to the delicate ecosystem.
The marine life and coral can be clearly viewed through the glass panels. It is an excellent way in which to view the Coral gardens in the lagoon especially for those who are reticent in snorkeling out to that distance.
Charges for a trip on the Glass Bottom Boat are 40 tala for adults and 20 tala for children aged 5 years to 12 years. Under 5 are free, but please note that it may not be suitable for toddlers or those suffering from motion sickness
