Vailima Lodge
Uaita & Dora Tofilau-Owners
Uaita and Dora had lived in New Zealand for 40 years. Dora, being a caterer for 25 years, decided that hospitality was the way to live and that Samoa was the place to do it. So, in 2005, they moved to Samoa and built a home in Vailima, which is a peaceful place with a cool climate and lush and green surroundings.
They fell in love with the tranquil environment, with breathtaking views of the mountain, and decided to create a place where people can come for a little piece of peace and quiet. Samoa is known for its hospitality and culture, and no doubt it is why tourism has given Samoa its identity.
As Dora says, "We welcome you with open arms, join us in our piece of paradise and call it home away from home".
