Aganoa Beach Retreat, hosted the 2007 South Pacific Games Surfing Competition, is situated at secluded Aganoa Beach in a rainforest conservation reserve, with commanding views of white sandy beaches and natural fauna. Natural-styled thatched roof fales feature comfortable spring mattresses on beds, mosquito nets, and electricity. Some units come complete with en-suites.

Founded by Aggie Grey in 1933, the hotel has blossomed to offer a choice of accommodation styles. It has 34 deluxe rooms and 2 suites in the new wing; 26 Samoan-style bungalows using local craft that can be witnessed in the intricately woven roof interiors and 96 standard rooms.

Coconuts Beach Club was severely damaged during the Sept 09 Tsunami and rebuilding has commenced.
